Is it against VMK Values to say you're at a Disney park?

I was at Disneyland today, and while I was in a a virtual room (playing at the computers in innoventions), typing in a few codes, a few of my friends that I know closely came by and said, "So, how's Disneyland?"

I was so scared that this was against VMK values to say anything about that. Isn't that a form of giving out location? And with the bans going on this week... (I have a clean record), I am worried that I may not be accepted as a CL_ one day.

Does anyone have an answer to this?

Well, the purpose of VMK is to get you to spend $60 on a ticket then a further several thousand on accomodation and food. You could be at Disneyland Paris or Nara Dreamland anyway.
They shouldn't mind.

It is not against VMK values. I know this because while at Innoventions at DLR they play games with people. For example they tell the people on the computers in innoventions that the first one of the people in the VMK room they are in to turn blue wins a prize. So therefore the people at the park will tell the peple in the room to turn blue to help them win a contest at the park. Since you are only there for the day, or for vacation, it is not likely someone is going to find you. Like maliboomer said, their whole point is to get you to go to the parks so they probably love to sit and watch people saying thats where they are!

LOL! I was in a room with DisAeryn and Lady B the other day. All of a sudden they shouted out, "quick! someone change into blue hair!" Well, I quickly put Pink in the blue, but I had no idea WHY I was doing it! I was very confused at that point why it was so important for me to have blue hair! NOW I know what was going on!!

That is cool that they play games like that- but I do know of 3 people off the top of my head who received short term bans (from 2 hours to 1 day) for announcing that they were in the park when they went into a room...

So I guess if you say- "quick- turn blue- I'll explain later" then you aren't saying you are in a park.

I also think you could have said- that DLR has been great when your friends asked-

But you can get a ban/warning/etc from giving out any personal information including that you are in a park right now... I suppose those in game pedophiles who have been disguised as your friends could hear that informationand will hurry to hop in a plane go to DLR- go to innoventions - and find you at the computer and attack you...

I did think this was against vmk values only because one time while in a room with a staff person, someone asked them if they were at the park now and they said that they couldn't give out that information because it would not be a safe thing for them to do.

They actually work in Santa Monica. I checked in the yellow pages.

And they do the "Turn Blue" thing at the Tomorrowland Computers. I was playing at the Frontierland computers. I will never forgive myself for sitting on that cactus chair...

i did hear someone got banned for like a day for saying that they were going to disney world to someone, so yea i dont think it is fair that u can say u are in disney and/or have a pin that says u created a person there when people are being banned just for saying that they are going

Actually, the scavenger hunt at Innoventions was a ton of fun. There were about 10 or so of us running around trying to find the different things they were asking for. The VMK area at DL is *way* cooler and *way* bigger than WDW. At WDW there are *maybe* 6 computers (if they are all working) and there's no interactivity. At DLR, they have several rooms of computers with all kinds of neat seating. Chairs that look like saddles, a few where you can play on a big wide screen tv, all sorts of different things to entice you to play. I didn't even think to take pics of the VMK area when I was at DLR. What the heck was I thinking?

I was wondering the same thing Reneper. Because I will be going to **Disney** in the Summer. And I was wondering can i say hi to my friends. And tell them about Disney. So thanks Carrieberry!
