is it a good idea to make 4:30 ressie at Boma?

I currently have a 5:00 reservation at Boma on a Tuesday but would it be better for me to book a 4:30 so we wont have to worry too much about being too crowded right away?? I know its only a half hour

That could be a wise move if you want to ensure you won't have to wait too long. We had a 5:40pm one night and didn't get seated until 6:00pm. Not too terrible, but we did show up 15 minutes early... so it made the total wait 35 minutes.

thanks! I just changed to the earliest time possible which was 4:30. We did this same thing at Ohana last year and it worked out great for us, no wait at all.

We had a 4:30 reservation the first time we did Boma and it was great! Not too big of a wait or too crowded.

We've had the best luck at Boma with 4:30ish ADR's. We got seated quickly and the buffet lines were very managable. As we were leaving, it was getting busier and much longer lines at the buffets.

Great that is good to hear! im glad i changed times. I did the same for Crystal Palace, i have a 4:45 there on another day.

We did a 4:30 pm ressie so we could make it to Epcot in time for a concert...I thought the place would be dead but boy was I wrong..within seconds the place was packed and the lines for the beef carving station were 20 people deep...didnt enjoy the food or the long wait for getting the food...total chaos for us.

We do bomas everytime we go to wdw, we try to get the earliest like 430 so we have time to do things still in the parks. If it is busy most people head to the beef cutting line i watch to see how long line is and usually go to the other stations first. Really like the bobotie and the dessert table< zebra domes and rum sauce!!!!!!!!.
