is it a 1 day or a 2day ticket AP has to buy

for the various specials they have.
ONLINE lets me do a 1 day and add dining, but via phone, I had to do 2 days.
Does it depend on the special that I am pricing for?
Trying to save where I can since I already have my AP.

There were 2 specials that I was looking at.
FD and then the % of room and then adding the dining plan. AP use to add a 1 day pass, but the CM on the phone said I had to add 2.

General public free dining requires the purchase of a 2 day ticket - that has been the case all year and for the new offer as well. That is true for anyone, including AP holders. LAST YEAR, only a 1 day ticket purchase was required to get free dining.

AP holders paying for dining don't have to buy any tickets.
General public paying for dining have to buy a 1 day ticket.
