Is it 100% true you can use the fastpass after your 1 hour time slot has passed?

Do you happen to know what time they usually close the fastpass lines?

Or does anyone know the average time that fastpasses run out for the day? (preferrably for summer season)

I think it depends on the popularity of the rides... I know last week at WDW fast passes were still being issued at 10 PM to return back to a ride at 10:55 PM. I can't remember much about CA in the evenings as we usually only go during the day. BUT rides like Space Mountain, Splash tend to run out of fast passes early in the day.

During summer months, expect the fastpasses for the popular attractions to be gone by noon.

We are JUST back and I rode ALL my fastpass rides AFTER the time slot and no one batted an eye! When I did my Indy one I even said to the CM...we're a little late...she said without hesitation, "Oh, no problem...come on in!"
Like many have said...nothing is 100% but we JUST did this for all rides and never had a problem! Just my experience...hope it helps!
