I'm going March 5-12 with two teenage boys who love Start wars. I've read about all the Start Wars activities and the Spacer Mountain Start Wars overlay that started last year. Wondering if all that's still going on when we'll be be there?

That overlay is/was at Disneyland in California.

WDW can't even get a "basic" upgraded Space Mountain, let alone one with a special overlay. To truly appreciate Space Mountain*, you have to go to DL.

*Applies to the actual ride itself. The queue and pavilion are better at WDW.

Well said, the ride itself is sooo much better at DLR. And while much of the queue is better at WDW, I even like the big room at DLR with the spaceship hanging in it better than any part of the WDW queue. Now, if I was actually waiting in line, I'd prefer the WDW interactive stuff.

I actually prefer the WDW Space Mountain. It's bigger with better theming...I don't know, it just feels more like Space. Coaster to coaster, the DL one is better (Space Mountain is basically the Matterhorn from DL ride system wise), but I still prefer WDW from the Star Tunnel to the exit speed ramp.

There's Launch Bay, Symphony in the Stars and the Symphony in the Stars dessert party in DHS.

There's also the Path of the Jedi move. Inside Launch Bay, there's a movie and Chewie and Kylo Ren meet & greets. Star Tours has a new scene from Force Awakens. They redid the Jedi Training Academy; it's now called Jedi Trials of the Temple. It takes more kids than before. There are two villains: Darth Vader and the Seventh Sister from the Rebels TV show. There's Star Wars themed food and drinks throughout the park, particularly at Backstage Express. Rumors say there will be a Sabine and Ezra meet & greet; they are from the Rebels TV show too. Until April 2, Watto's Grotto has special merchandise. You can also get it it Tataouine Traders and there's a Star Wars store at Disney Springs. The following thread may help, especially the first page.

Awe boo! :-( Well what new star wars activities of events are going to be there, if any? They gotta have SOMETHING in the wake of The Force Awakens...

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan but I like Star Wars. I honestly felt like Star Wars was everywhere at DHS when we went last month. No new rides yet obviously but there is definitely a larger presence. I mean, there's a whole Star Wars themed fireworks show already. That's huge.

While I'm a fan of more Star Wars stuff at DHS, I will say it was an interesting choice to put the Launch Bay directly next to
Playhouse Disney Live on Stage. Nothing like some Storm Troopers marching around right by Doc McStuffins. I know they wanted to get something Star Wars opened fast but still ... o_O

True the ride is good at DL And the seats ( side by side ) are cool, I do like the upgraded smoother ride that WDW upgraded a few yrs ago...

Now DL/Paris (Has the best one yet) According to my sis....She said that one blows them both away...:confused3 FWIW, my DS won't go on the one in WDW but loves DL...

I think it makes total sense having storm troopers marching by Doc McStuffins, somebody's gotta keep her in line haha!

Or...have you ever seen the LINE for Doc when she comes out? You practically need a fastpass to see her. Maybe the troopers are her personal body guards. Maybe they call her "Darth Mc Stuffins" and she's more powerful than Vader...:scared:
