Is Hwy 27 any faster than turnpike/I-4

Just wondering what it's like taking Hwy 27 south from the Turnpike to Hwy 192 and thence onto WDW property. Is it slower, faster, or about the same? We'd be traveling on Sunday evening and then the other way (sob) on Saturday morning, if that makes a difference.

I think it's faster--there's certainly a LOT less traffic, especially during rush hour.

It's a pretty drive through the rolling hills and orange groves in Clermont.

If you're coming by during the midday, Santiago's in the base of the Citrus Tower has GREAT Mexican at very reasonable prices.

Just be careful as you take the ramp from 27 onto 192, that curve is a LOT sharper than it appears.
