Is Hulk okay for DS?

Going to USF and IOA for first time. Was at WDW last year.

DS(11) is pretty fearless. He was a bit concerned about Rock 'N Roller Coaster, but went on it anyway. He loved it, and went on a few more times. Wants to do it again this trip.

He didn't want to do Tower of Terror, but eventually did after being called chicken (in the nicest way!) by a waiter at the Mama Melrose's restaurant. He was fine with that too, and went again.

So, ... how is the Hulk compared to these rides? Will he be okay with it?

What about Duelling Dragons?

What about the drop or flume rides?

Hulk is a better ride than Rocking Roller Coaster. Of the three rockin roller coaster is the most tame (Boring IMO), then Hulk. dragons are more intense than Hulk.
tower of terror is more intense than Dr Doom.
If he can handle splash mountain Jurassic park should be no problem as well as Ripsaw Falls.

The Hulk is the least jarring, smoothest roller coaster I've ever ridden. It's made for thrills, not for nausea, as some are! My son is 8 and thinks it's the best ever. This year was the first year he was tall enough to ride it and I still have the picture of his smiling face on it on my desk. That picture spoke volumes of what that ride is like! It is incredible!

I agree with MIB9s that DD is more intense, especially the first seat. Not for the faint at heart!

The last drop on the Jurassic Park River Adventure is more of a shock than a scare. If he could handle the MGM rides, the flume rides should not be a problem.

ran into a family at the front gate 11/23 and they were trying to figure the best times to ride the coasters. I told them about the dragons and since dragons was open at 9:00 am they went right for it. I met up with them later and they were impressed with the smoothness of the ride. They put it this way:
THIS IS A THRILL RIDE THAT IS SMOOTH, NOT A ROUGH RIDE THAT INDUCES FEAR TO BRING ABOUT THE THRILL.
i thought they put it very well.

Hulk and Dueling Dragons were made by Bollinger and Mallibaurd. Nearly every one of their coasters are smooth. The ones at IOA aren't any different. The Hulk can be jarring in the back to some people, though.
