I am going to disney world in october and im trying to get my plans in order. I was wondering if i would be able to start out rope drop at epcot get on a ride or two and then head over to hollywood studios at like 1030ish and still be able to do all the rides and shows except the disney jr stuff? we also dont care for character meet and greets. thanks for the feedback

So you would use/book your fast passes at HS, I am guessing? Yes it's doable, but personally I would spend more time at Epcot than HS, unless you are a big Star Wars fan. Is that your only Epcot day?

no i will have a day just for epcot. I figured that since there is a bit less to do at HS i might as well hop on a couple of epcot rides as that morning as well as long as its doable. and yes i will be getting fastpass for HS

What do you care about there? there isn't much but some of the things like the indiana jones stunt show aren't short. if you have a fp for tsmm you can probably do the 4 rides in about an hour or two. are you staying for fantasmic? the fireworks? grabbing a meal or two?

I've done most of the things there before but my girl friend has never been there before so i wanted to try and get as much as possible done besides the disney jr and character meet and greet stuff. I have the fantasmic dinner package booked for 3pm at hollywood and vine so that would be the only time i eat in the park. Im not sure if there are fireworks or not since they have no hours but i would stay for those if they are there.

I think it's very doable, just check the times for indiana jones and most girlfriends would love beauty and the beast stage show and they don't happen all day.. tsmm you really want a fastpass for, that is always 90-120 minute line unless you rope drop it. The other rides, I tend to try to get on them later at night and usually it's not too bad but sometimes that backfires, I still try to get fastpasses for everything.

Also keep in mind the new star wars night show/fireworks starts sometime in june, that might get some bigger crowds as locals come in to see it.

I will probably get fastpasses for TSMYM, ToT and star tours and then see if i can pick up more fastpasses as the day goes on. I know she likes the little mermaid so that's a definite show. I had heard that the beauty and the beast show hasnt aged well is that true?

not aged well disney is usually better than others best. I haven't seen it lately so I can't really comment.

that is true. Im just trying to figure out what time i need to get to the park by in order to be able to fit everything in since fantasmic is at 730

You can definitely have a great day with 3/4 of the day to spend there.i find DHS tricky to plan because so much is shows, which of course are longer than rides and have a specific schedule. You'll need to look at show times when your trip gets closer to see exactly what you're interested in and how it fits around your dining and Fantasmic.
I don't know what extra FP availability has been like in DHS - hopefully you can get one for Great movie Ride or Rockin Rollercoaster, or extras on Star Tours and Tower.
Have fun!

I personally think the Beauty and the Beast show is great. Watch it every year!

It may be somewhat true, but in my opinion the little mermaid show is even worse. I still enjoy both, but I have to imagine their run is reaching its limit... after all the other construction is finished maybe they will be updated or replaced.

I think that you can cover a lot of ground but probably not everything.

'Rides':
Rocking Roller Coaster *
ToT *
Star Tours *
Toy Story Mania *
Great Movie Ride

Shows:
Indy *
Beauty
Mermaid
Frozen *
Muppets
Star Wars stage
Captain Phasma stage *
Fantasmic!

That's a lot to do in a few hour...you would need to be in line for F! By 6:45 if not earlier...

If I were you - I would prioritize my top 6-7 things and then sit with the times guide or touring plans and plan out the day...keep a 'B' list of attractions if time permits! I starred my families top 7 things..We have seen all DHS attractions (plus many characters not listed here) in the last few months.

Of the Princess shows - Frozen is the newest and I think the funniest, even my DH and DS like it. Beauty is nice - but seating without a FP is a bit iffy but doable especially for 2, and Little Mermaid is the same as always. Frozen and Mermaid seating seems fine to me without FP and we could get same day FPs for them (but didn't) during our April trip. We ended up walking into Frozen 2 minutes before it started - and even though we sat in the very last seats in a middle row -it was still a good experience.

There are 2 Star Wars stage shows at center stage. We really enjoyed the Captain Phasmas storm Trooper March. It's well done and has some good effects and surprises in it. The other is fun too if you have time for both!
