Is Grandma a Princess or a Pirate? UPDATE 9/28! The Last Suppah! PICS!! Pg. 69!

Yay! Another trippie! I have to get caught up (tomorrow) but wanted to subscribe so I wouldn't lose you...

I agree Spectromagic is a magical breathtaking parade. One of my tops things to see/do while at WDW.

I'm glad you got Jon his spot back, I hate rude people who shove during the parade. I had my own bad experience with that except they kept shoving me into the street and then the CM's scolded me for being in the street. :headache:

(because saying it louder makes them understand English better I guess): “MY SON IS STANDING HERE. AND YES YOU DO UNDERSTAND.”

Listen, I’m short…I get it. I’m aware of my height challenges. But, I’m not flippin’ invisible. My head is not meant for arm resting, hair tousling, noogies, or as a camera stand. :furious:

OK, I'll stop doing those things to short folks. Geez. :rotfl: J/K of course. I'm sorry that this happens to you.

And my little boy, sat with his hand in mine…and that was it. That was THE moment. The moment where I “got it.” The moment where the “magic” hit ME.

Awwww. Sniff. :goodvibes

Oh…she is truly perfect in every way!

It just struck me as kind of ridiculous that they put poor Mary in her scarf and coat in May in Florida. How hot must she be? :faint:

And when it was alllll over…the whole parade…I looked over at my motha. And she said one word:

“Wow!”

Yea buddy…YOUUUUUU ARRRRRRE WELCOME!

NICE! :cool1:

Good for you for putting that lady in her place....literally.:thumbsup2

Spectro is pretty awesome! I am glad your mutha liked it.

I love Spectro too! We saw it for the first time this past trip, it was beauitful.

You're pic of King Triton was awesome with the castle in the background, very cool.

At least your motha had a moment of gratitude for you.

I decided I would finally come out of lurkdom :wave2:

I've been following your report since the beginning and I've loved every minute of it. We have a similar type of relationship with DH's mom, the kind that is only good in short bursts, so I can totally relate to that part.

Looking forward to reading some more.

I feel the same way about my MIL!

Hey Jen, GREAT Spectro pictures! And what a sweet story about your first viewing. That's cool that you got to see the very first one. It would be cool if one of your other readers ends up having seen that parade, too.

And said (in my most polite British accent Jo): “Excuse me. But, my son was standing there.” See that…I used my words. :thumbsup2
You probably sounded more English then me :rotfl2:

So, I point to Jon and say VERY loudly this time (because saying it louder makes them understand English better I guess): “MY SON IS STANDING HERE. AND YES YOU DO UNDERSTAND.”
Good for you :thumbsup2

Her ding dang boyfriend or whatever the heck he was placed his camera directly over my head to snap his pictures.
He did what  OMG how rude :headache:

And my little boy, sat with his hand in mine…and that was it. That was THE moment. The moment where I “got it.” The moment where the “magic” hit ME.
Just beautiful :cloud9:

And when it was alllll over…the whole parade…I looked over at my motha. And she said one word:

“Wow!”

Yea buddy…YOUUUUUU ARRRRRRE WELCOME!
See it was all worth it :rotfl2:

I think I am a little verklempt at reading your retrospective story.

Then I laughed at the 3 little pigs not being kosher:lmao:

(Don’t tell anyone…but I’m really a feminist, gun-hating, tree-hugging, granola crunching mommy who preaches non-violence and using your words. Heh heh.)
I KNEW it! Pass the granola, would ya? :hippie:
“MY SON IS STANDING HERE. AND YES YOU DO UNDERSTAND.”
:rotfl2: Well done! :thumbsup2

My head is not meant for arm resting, hair tousling, noogies, or as a camera stand. :furious:
Oh boy, do I second that statement.

Wonder what song these guys are playin’?
Frisbee? :smokin:

Love the walk down Spectro lane! :goodvibes

I knew you would not put the smackdown on that woman, you have more class than that:thumbsup2

Yes...yes I do! :rolleyes1

That is a great excuse

Pass me one please ::yes::

Sorry. Drank 'em all! :rotfl2:

Mary never sweats---she glistens....after all she is practically perfect in everyway!!!

I love that you put that lady right back in the proper place! WTG! I can't believe that she actually pushed your son. Awesome Spectro photos! Your flashback story is amazing; I can't even imagine!
