Monday, May 26th:
So, we fly out of Albuquerque at 7:45 in the morning. Which means we have to be at the airport by 6ish or so. Which means we have to be out of the house by 5:30 or so. Which means we have to be up at 4:30 or so. DOH.

Why do I do this to myself?
We will land in Houston at 10:50. We’ll have 2 1/2 hours to kill and eat lunch. And not kill each other because by this point, I will have officially been in cramped quarters with my motha for 2 hours straight.

And cramped plane quarters mean nowhere to escape to. (darn it…I ended that sentence with a preposition…sorry V!

)
We fly outta Houston at 1:15 and land in sunny Florida, 2 hours and 23 minutes later at 4:38 FLORIDA TIME!!! We are HOME!

(almostish)
We’ll head over to ME and get checked in. (I got our tags a few weeks ago! A relief after renting the points!

)
We’ll then bus over to SSR. I am hoping to be at the room by 6:30-7:00ish. Which means that by this time, I will have logged about 12 hours of motha time. And remember we do have an expiration date. Of 72 hours. And I’ll be down to about 2 1/2 days at this time.
After we get settled, we’ll go over to DTD and I’m hoping to do Earl’s. Man…did we ever love this place last trip! The tuna is to DIE for! YUMMMM!
We’ll walk around a bit and head back to SSR for an early bedtime. BECAUSE………..
Tuesday, May 27th: MK DAY
Today is EMH for MK. But…it’s at 8:00 AM Florida time, which would be 6:00 AM New Mexico time. And…we will have to be on the bus at least 30-45 minutes early. Which would place us in the 5:30 AM New Mexico time frame. And we’d have to be up before that for getting readiness and Jon’s meds, and what the heck about breakfast???? And we will have freshly traveled chil’rens who are freshly cranky. BUT…I wanna try EMH. Once. And if I don’t like it…I don’t have to do it again!
Soooo…we’ll be at MK at either 8:00 or 9:00.
We will now interrupt this pre-trippie for an intermission. ***The official time on the motha expiration is T-minus 48 hours and counting.
And now…back to our regularly scheduled pre-TR!
As soon as we get into the park we will head straight to Guest Services to pick up our GAC. It was invaluable to us on our last trip…when we needed it. And I plan to use it the same way this trip…only when we need it!
IF…and I do mean IF we make it in for EMH…we’ll take care of Dumbo, PP, and all of them rides first. And I do mean IF. A big ol’ IF.
We will be splitting the park today. Always go to the left first, right???
So, we’ll “officially” start in Adventureland. I figure to break Lexie in…we should do something simple. Aladdin’s good…right? But, we have to hit up POTC and JC early. Those are two of my favs in the entire park…and we wouldn’t want to miss Captain Jack and the back side of water!!! The Tiki Room is a must-do too. Can’t you hear them birds singin’??? Oh…and a Dole Whip. We gotta whip it good after I tried these things last trip! YUMM!
We’ll hit up Frontierland also…although I’m not sure how much we’ll get done here. Jon did ride BTMRR with me last trip, but I doubt there will be a repeat seeing as how he screamed like a 4-year-old girl the whole way.

I would love to drag him on SM…but seeing as how he can *see* the huge splash and log pummeling down the mountain…this one will probably be a no-go too. I can’t lie (hide the truth

) to him about what the ride entails if he can *see* what happens. Darn it.
I figure somewhere around here it will be getting pretty darn close to lunch. And right now…the plan is to catch the nearest thing. But, we’ll probably do Cosmic Ray’s, because they have cheap boigahs and fraws. (For you non-New York descendants…that’s burgers and fries)
After lunch…we are going to do something I learned was crucial during last trip!
We are going back to the hotel for a nap/swim/cool-down time. With freshly transplanted toddler travelers in tow (how’d you like them alliterative apples V?), you MUST schedule a break! So, we’ll head back to the hotel for a while and chillax.
I plan to be back at MK by 6ish. We’ll grab dinner at Casey’s. Although someone said that they have decreased the size of their hot dogs…and they aren’t giantish wienies anymore…but more a regular sized wienie. And I must say I’m disappointed. Because I liked the giant wienies. And I don’t wanna pay big wienie prices for a small wienie. But I digress…
We’ll finish up anything we missed in Frontierland and Liberty Square as well…if Jonathon forces me to. Because he loves him some Hall of Presidents.
Then…we gotta scope our spot for Spectro! I wanna catch the 9:00 showing. I’m going to have to be selective…I don’t want to be too far from our Wishes viewing spot that we scored last year…on the recommendation of a certain Tour Guide!!!
After Wishes we will escort ourselves out with the throngs of THOSE people…because I’m pretty sure by now…we’ll be exhausted and tuckered from our first days festivities. Here’s hopin’ the SSR bus isn’t as crowded as those ASMu buses from last summer. That was a NIGHTMARE!! (Huh meeska???)
Then…it’s nighty nighty for us. Getting sleep for the next day!
Officially Official Motha Countdown: T-minus 33ish hours and counting to explosion!
