I am trying to figure out our DW trip. There are 4 of us. The DAS is mine and I am limited on what rides I can ride so the others need Genie+ for sure but do I? I really have not grasped how they work together. Can you have a DAS return time and a Genie+ return time at the same time for different rides? For the same ride?

Not sure if you've gone on your trip yet, but we used Genie+ and DAS together and it was fantastic. DAS is for my 4 year old, so he is height restricted on several rides (not a ton, but more than a few). So, for those we used Genie+ to ensure the adults and my big kids could ride them. We were out of luck on rides that had a height restriction and were not on Genie+ though (FoP is the only one that comes to mind) since we wouldn't do ILL, so my big kids had to wait in line on those. But, for nearly every other ride, we were able to either get a Genie+ or a DAS return time, sometimes both. So my guy got to ride many of his favorite rides more than once.

Full disclosure, we didn't buy Genie+ every day. We bought it for DHS (where we found it to be a great addition to DAS) and for MK (where it would have worked well with DAS, except for the fact that the rides kept breaking down just as we got on them). And then we bought it for the big kids on the EPCOT day because they planned to hop to MK for the afternoon/evening and they were stacking their Genie+ return for MK since they would not have a DAS to use. We did not bother with Genie+ for AK, as simply having DAS was more than sufficient.

I think so. Although with both things, you can get done in the parks a LOT faster every day.

I wouldn't get it for Epcot or AK, personally, but I would for MK and DHS, especially MK. That's what we're going to do on our next trip.
