I'm thinking about changing our December trip to a F&W,MNSSHP trip first week in October.
Wondering if F&W is seven days a week or just on the weekend. I wish we could do October and December but my DH says that's to much Disney to close together. thanks in advance!:thumbsup2

It's every day.

I really enjoyed the premium package last year and if I go again and it's offered, I will be doing that for sure.
It was worth the money to me not to eat over a garbage can and have CM's get my food for me.

What is this premium package of which you speak?

Food and Wine is daily during that time as well as Eat to the Beat. I personally prefer the weekdays as the crowds are smaller and less rowdy. Friday and Saturday tend to have the drinking teams who will make scenes. Not uncommon to have fights in the World Show Case on Friday and Saturday nights. Once as a CM I had to call security on a woman who decided to drop her panties on the bridge between future world and world showcase and let nature happen.

We would definitely be going during the week. We will have our small children with us. sounds like wild child Disney time on weekend during F&W, my party days are over.

Disney offered a package that if you booked it, you got a free goodie bag for your room with a small bottle of wine, chocolate, special F&W magic band (which I lost. Boo!), 50.00 gift card, stemless wine glass which I still use at home.
You also received credentials to get into several special areas where you could order your food from the booths, pay for it and the CM's would get it for you. You had a guaranteed table to eat at then and while there wasn't official seating, some of the areas had ledges or benches in them you could sit on while eating.
The credentials were only good Mon-Thursday and the spots were only open until 8pm but it was still nice.

You also got access to one of the late nights Live! parties with a free special drink and the credentials had tabs on them so you would get 5 free items from the select open food booths. You would go up to the booth, request your item and take a tab off your credentials. There was live entertainment and a group of strange dancers in the area too.
I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy it but it was alot of fun.

I second this. We did it last year and loved it. I would recommend it if they offer it again. We also did the VIP villains thing at MNSSHP and loved that as well.
