Is the availability of discounts typically similar for F&F and AP? Are the AP discounts ever better than the F&F room discounts?
We aren't typically big planners, and we aren't picky about where we stay as long as we're on property. The only thing with that is we are a family of five, so our options are a little limited. We've actually talked about camping at FW on our next trip because that's one thing we haven't done there, but my favorite place is POR just because it makes the most economic sense for our family, especially when we can get the F&F discount. DH's aunt almost always makes our room reservations for us and she seems to not mind, but if the AP room discount is about the same I'm considering upgrading to an AP.
One more question... are the discounts (on food and general merchandise) between the AP and the PAP all the same? You don't get a better room discount for a PAP do you?
