Hi,

My best friend and I are planning a trip to DLP. This will be the one and only time that we go. We plan to spend three days in the parks and three nights at a hotel. I usually go for the inexpensive hotel, but I really want to stay at The Disneyland Hotel. It is twice the price of Santa Fe- is it worth it? :confused3
Thanks for any input!

I have not stayed there myself but hope to do so one day! I wandered through and lets just say I want to stay there even more afterwards! If it will not be too much strain on your budget I would say go for it! If it will mean you have less euros to spend in the parks because of staying there, I would say go for the cheaper option.

I have never stayed there but I think it's everyone's dream to stay there who hasn't.

Just wanna say...trust me, this WONT be the only time you go! As soon as you leave Disneyland you'll be thinking when to next go back!

Given the length of your journey I'd treat yourself.
I believe the breakfast buffet is better so you could fill up on this , have a snack lunch and a dinner to save some Euros.
I'd love to stay there. :flower:

Yes I would say if your budget stretches it is worth it. It is handy to nip back if you go during wet weather or cold spells (well, it is France after all - weather just like ours!!) You feel really special walking in and out as you see others wandering up for their buses (not that Im being a snob it just is kinda neat). The rooms are bigger as are the bathrooms and the breakfast (self service) is a wonderful array of eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, breads and cakes, meat, cheese, yoghurts, spreads, tea, coffee, hot choc, oj, apple juice and you can have as much as you want.
They turn down the beds at night and leave chocolates on the pillows, the towels are fluffier and theres more of them; you get towelling robes in the room (2 but you can ask for more) which a lot of people use when they go down to the pool.
You get 3 free fast passes per person (which means you get a head start at the rides) and if you can afford Castle Club you get free fast passes for the whole of your trip (unlimited although not sure if theres a time limit each day, ie between 11am and 2 hrs before park closes as in the passes you get in standard rooms) This in itself is a bonus if you are going at a busy time of the year. If you can afford CC you also get free non alcoholic drinks during the day at the hotel and an afternoon tea (free) which Im not sure whats in it (probably cake and soft drinks) as weve not tried it yet (will do in November when we have our next trip).
As its the one and only time you will be there and, budget allowing, I would say go for it!! :flower:
