I am going to Disney World for the first time at the end of Febuary till March 6, I was just wondering how busy everything was at that time of the year?

Any info is great I am new to all of this.

Hi and :welcome: to the DIS!

In general, the busiest times at WDW are whenever schools are not in session. Your time period should see crowds on the light side of average. Enjoy your trip!

Only busy times near there are Star Wars weekends and ESPN The Weekend, so may want to check those events.

Other than that it should be clear sailing.

I'm going at the end of February too.... apparently there's some sort of marathon weekend Feb 25 - 27th, but besides that, there should be pretty light crowds... I hope! This will be my first time too!

I was there from feb 28th until march 9th, two years ago and the longest wait we had was 40 min for TSM everything else was either walk on or 10-15 min wait time, you will be fine!

This time of year can be tricky. As said before know what is going on. What areas of the country might be off from school, what international tourists are doing, what events are going on at Disney as well as what is going on in Orlando.

You would be surprised as to how the littlest event can pack the parks.

Right now is supposed to be slow season and yet at Universal they are seeing crowds sizes normally seen during the summer.

Definitely a little advanced planning can go a long way to enjoying your vacation!!

have fun!

I tried to get a 1 bedroom villa my dates are flexible having a hard time getting any time in february and march

We are going the same week. I am taking comfort that they had the free dining promotion this week, but not the week prior and not the week after.

i will be in disney the same week.. i am surprising my daughter for her birthday with the trip.. i am hoping because school vacations are the 2 weeks before for most people that it won't be to busy..

It probably won't be as busy as the following couple weeks, but there are some places whose spring break may fall into that period.

its princess half marathon weekend, so the actual weekend may be busy, but it shouldn't be too bad!

We have been at WDW right after President's Week, going for President's Week and then staying a few extra days. The best part is that as soon as President's Week is over (this year, that would be February 27th), the parks completely clear out and the ride waits are pretty short. I wish we could go to the park then!! We love having two days with fewer crowds when we can walk on to the rides.
