Is Disney Store doing some sort of Princess Of The Week Sale?

When I was browsing Disney Store this week I noticed that they are doing some Princess Of The Week promotional sale and I want to know more about it? The first Disney Store Princess Of The Week this week is Tiana and in honor of this week merchandise featuring The Princess Of The Week is on sale. Is this promotion replacing World Princess Week this year. Who is the next Princess Of The Week after Tiana next week?

It appears that this week's featured Princess Of The Week is Ariel and Disney Store seems to be having an Ariel themed sale much like the Tiana themed sale last week. It seems like a brand new move to market new Disney Princess merchandise and I wonder if it's a new tradition that Disney Store will do every August?
