Is Disney still offering MNSSHP dinner package?

We did this in 2001 - - we bought our MNSSHP tix and were able to book dinner at LTT prior to the normal PS seating times. In other words, if you normally book LTT 60 days out, we were able to book 90 days out (or something like that  ).

Does anyone have the "scoop" on this year's MNSSHP dinner options?

Ok, you've used way too many abbreviations for me. What do they stand for (besides PS, which I know is Priority Seating)?

LTT = Liberty Tree Tavern
MNSSHP = Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

When I ordered my tickets, I was told I could not book LTT. Later that week, I heard someone else was able to do so. I called back (maybe last Thursday or Friday?) and was able to book it for 10/5. When I called they had to connect me to someone different.

I just got off the phone with Disney dining! At first I was told it was not available to be booked before 60 days out, but I asked cm if he could double check because I had heard someone else had been able to book it. I was on hold awhile, but when he came back, he said it could be booked now for the night of your MNSSHP. So, I have ps for 5:30 on fri 10-3! Yeah! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks for the info. I'm going to give WDW a call today.

On 10/3 we will be there too and are planning to attend the MNSSHP (look at me use the abbreviation now). I had not considered PS for that night inside the park. I have two questions:

1) If the park closes at 6:00 and reopens at 7:00 for the party, which is what CRO told me, can you eat in between closing and opening? Say, at 6:00 or 6:30??

2) Are there any advantages to dining inside MK that night? As opposed to some other night?

Thanks,
Karen

Ok, one more question...how is Liberty Tree?? I've never eaten there.

Thanks,
Pyedog

Pyedog - I can't answer your quetions directly but will watch to see answers because I want to know too! I have read very good reviews of LTT.

Pyedog:

I made reservations on 10/10 @ 6:00 at LTT for the night we are going to the party. To get in you need to show your PS number and tickets to the party. I have ate there before and it is a fun dinner/ characters dressed for the event. I feel the advantage to eating at LTT is that it has been my experience that not to many places are open to eat - this way I know we will get a good dinner.

We love LTT, but let me share with you the experience I had just the last couple of days trying to book my PS in conjunction with MNSSHP on October 19th:

Yesterday, I called & was told that 10/19 was totally booked. Called again about 1/2 hour later; totally booked. Called again about 3-4 hours later; same story.

Got up this morning & called first thing: Now I had several times to choose from, and ended up getting a 6:05 PS. Hooray!! It pays to be persistent!!

The CM told me that PS dining times were from 5:00 - 7:00 for the dinner package. As another poster said, you just show your MNSSHP tickets and give your PS confirmation number at the gate.
