Is Disney really that beautiful at Christmas time?

I was thinkin about doing a few day trip between Thanksgiving and Christmas and was wondering if it is worth it? Disney World is beautiful year round, but whats it like for the holidays? When are the Christmas decorations revealed?

HI, nobody does Christmas like Disney, it is very beautiful and festive and fun- also very crowded!

We go to Disney a lot and although my DH pretends like he doesn't get all that excited about going (I think he is a closet disneyholic). He always says nothing gets him in the spirit of Christmas like Disney.

I would really like to go during the holiday season. We were there in January and it was just beautiful. I dont know if I can wait that long to see if there will be any codes for January. It was gorgeous weather when we were there. I cant wait to go back. Hopefully I will be able to swing it. Thanks all.

We are going for the first time in December and the first time to MVMCP....I am sooo excited that we are going. This is my B-day present and my kids Christmas present . I have always wanted to go to Disney and see the Christmas decorations. We have already went once this year in March....I am so thankful that I have a DH that loves to feed into my (and my kids) Disney addiction However, I know he is feeding into his own addiction as well, but he will never admit to it.

Just HAD to chime in when i saw your thread. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year to be at Disney. I don't think you've truely experienced DW until you've been there at Christmas.

Oh my gosh it is amazing. You must go to MGM and see the Osbourne lights! It is well worth it. Disney is so magical at Christmas. The parade and fireworks at Magic Kingdom are awesome. Go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas! You will love it. Also, the Disney Parade on tv is great!

Most definitely! I go not only for the beauty and special things but to escape the brutal cold and snow in the Northeast, and it's wonderful. It's truly something that needs to be seen in person to be completely appreciated. I love the heat and sunshine, so I never thought I'd enjoy it in the winter, but I love it even more. The weather has been beautiful, and every time I got I've experienced low crowds, and the parks are still open late with EMH!
