We are not really water park people, so we were not going to add the water park and more option to our tickets. But, tonight DH was reading about the virtual pirate adventure at Disney Quest and it sounds like something our boys would love. Have any of you DISers tried it? :confused3

If you have the time, it is nice to take a break from the parks and head to downtown disney for a day.

However, even though Disney Quest costs extra money, if you have boys, im sure they will love it there so don't worry. If you are still skeptical about going there, I suggest getting tickets for Cirque de soleil la nouba.. it is amazing.

But if you are on any kind of budget, you definitely want to save that money for things such as food and maybe just head to downtown disney for some sightseeing, eat at the rainforest cafe, or let your boys browse the lego store that even has a large lego monster coming out of the water. ( all of this will be fun and cost you little to no money at all )

hope this helps

We tried Disney Quest for the first time last week. I don't know how much it normally costs to get in because we had the free Water Parks and More deal. We had a great time and could have stayed much longer. DH and DD6 are big video game fans, so it was right up their alley. Lots of the older video games like Pacman and Frogger, newer racing games, a little kids' area, and much more-5 floors of stuff. It was nice not to have to put in quarters or tokens in anything.

We didn't do the Pirates game, but it looked like fun. We loved the virtual magic carpet and the virtual jungle cruise. There's also an animation class where they teach you to draw a character. The design your own Space Mountain looked fun, too, but there was a line and we decided not to wait for it. If your boys are video game fans at all, they'll be in heaven here.

Oh my goodness! It sounds like I'm going to have trouble getting them to leave to go to the parks!:rotfl:

Thanks for the info. This definitely sounds like our kind of place. I can't believe we've never gone before.
