Is Disney planning to make a live action version of The Sword In The Stone?

I keep hearing that Disney has been trying to make a live action The Sword In The Stone movie for quite some time and I want to know if it will ever be made in the future? From what I've read the movie is told from Merlin's point of view and the film's working title is Merlin

This was announced out to be in early production, but haven't heard much about it in a while. Hopefully there will be more news soon.

Fingers crossed it gets canceled. I am fine with them making a different Arthur story, but not Sword in the Stone. Leave the cartoon alone.
