Oh, how I would LOVE to see Maelstrom rethemed with Frozen. I also think it would be so cool to redo the Storybook Princess Breakfast to feature Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff. The castle could be like Elsa's ice castle. Oh, please, please!

Now this I would love to see!

Cheaper and simpler will be to change the breakfast to a Frozen themed one with her being the star vs. Belle(I never really understood what the heck she was doing in Norway anyway)

I agree that crowd control would be a big issue with changing the current ride over.

I am so opposed to this! Norway is an interesting country that doesn't deserve to be buried under princesses. Enough already.

Of course.....I am also of the mindset that Disney's Imagineering (and I use that term in the loosest sense) really have no imagination left in their engineering.

They did an outstanding and wondrous job on Cars Land at DCA/DLR.
A huge favorite with CA guests.

Instead of blowing untold millions/billions on MM+,
they could have built Cars Land twice as big in Orlando.

THIS is what I want to see! Even if they were to just replace Belle with Anna and Elsa.

It would give us an excuse to enjoy another meal in Norway. Their lunch buffet is amazing!

That is true.....I guess I should have been more specific....WDW's Imagineering seems to have taken the craptacular track.

That might actually get me interested in Blizzard Beach. I would be very sad to see the Maelstrom go. I dearly love that ride and yes, even the video at the end. Now whatever they are calling the Mexico ride can take a hike. I thought it was ok back before the refurb and generally always went on it.....after the refurb, I consider it a must skip.

Hmm...I dunno. I do like the Maelsrom, but it is aging. A Frozen retheme might be good, but then again, the Maelstrom is so short as it is that I wonder if it would be worth it. If Frozen is as big and popular as it seems, it might deserve a brand new, more spectacular ride. Of course, time will tell if the popularity lasts. I think rushing it would be a bad move. I agree, stick to the M&G, maybe a specific character meal for them, something flexible.

I'm not 100% against replacing Maelstrom, but just don't jump the gun.

I understand the cost but they have the space why not just create another ride all together instead of replacing a supposed "tier 1" ride that a lot of people like to still ride on.... With the issues of not having enough top rides I don't understand taking out one of your better rides.

And this is the biggest problem I have with Disney right now. They are not adding new rides. The slap a coat of paint on an existing ride and pretend it is new. Since out last trip in 2010 they will have added a total of one new ride.

In new FL they added the mine train and little mermaid for +2 but took out Snow White for a +1 net.

Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that has been added at the other 3 parks or even the water parks.

I LOVED Frozen but I have to say, not everything in the Norway pavilion needs to be saturated with it. The church does look nice and provides a good tie in to the movie and Norway but my husband works in the pavilion and is from Norway and I know the cast members there would probably like it if their country was known for more than a Disney cartoon.
