Is Discovery Cove worth it if you have swam with dolphins before?

Hey there,

I have never been to discovery cove, but I have swam with dolphins and sea turtles in the ocean while in Hawaii before. I am planning to head to Seaworld from my 21st birthday (have APs) and I am trying to decide between using the discount the AP gets me for a discovery cove dolphin swim day or doing the beluga interaction again at seaworld (which is probably the highlight of my life since I did it last year). I am heavily leaning towards Belugas as I adore them, but just curious if I am missing something about the allure of DC. I'm not interested in SeaVenture or the Grand Reef due to me being quite the scardy cat.

Is DC really all that special and worth it? What do you really "do" there?

I would live in the beluga exhibit if Seaworld would let me so DC needs to be mind blowing I think for me to go there and miss the belugas. Is it that great? What do you actually do all day?

Well, we think DC is very special. We've visited twice already (the first time was supposed to be our "once in a lifetime" experience, but ended up returning again that same year ) and we are booked for a third visit this coming August.

We've done a DC day with the dolphin swim, and one visit with no dolphin swim (just the "day resort" admission). Both awesome and amazing days.

Worth is very subjective, so what may be worth it for us won't be worth it for someone else. Its a day that's relaxing and peaceful and tranquil. Its a day where we feel like we've escaped from the hullaballoo of the theme parks to our own private island. Its a day that we can eat and drink and rest and play without having to worry about money, crowds, queues, or anything. And the experiences are very unique.....snorkelling. Swimming among sting rays. Feeding exotic birds. Watching the monkeys and otters play. Floating past lush foliage and under waterfalls under the gorgeous Florida sun.

Its just a park that gives us such a good feeling.

And its the most awesome and indulgent and pampered day of our entire vacation.

It will be a totally different experience than the Beluga interaction at SW, I am guessing. But its without question the park we look most forward to visiting!

That was a very informative video! Thank you. It does seem relaxing. I'm picturing it as a good end to a few days at Disney perhaps.
