what do they serve? What is there for breakfast? I was considering it as I get ready to book for my daughters sweet 16 trip. I looked at Disney hotels and OMG it is cheaper to do the HRH even at club level. :confused3 I was just wondering what the food and drink options were during anyones stay .Thanks so much guys .

Coastermom,I am a DVC owner and im telling you if you want to make a lasting splash with your daughter then stay club level at the HRH.In the morning they have everything from bagels to cereal, fruits and then some. The evening they haver hot and cold food including shrimp, hot dishes of assortment from the reasurants downstairs.Soft drinks from iced tea to coke are available all day. They have a drink station with a fridge of coke products, bottle water etc..
I have 3 teenage daughters and they love staying concierge at the HRH.Given a choice they would stay concierge universal over Disney.

I just stayed there last week. It was great. Lots of breakfast items and the best was the fresh fruit. Evenings they had pizza quiches and veggies, bread, etc. Cool drinks and snacks most of the day too. YOu have to use a room card for the seventh floor which is kind of cool. Great vibe, CD library, cool staff. She will love it!

I think I am sold on the club level thanks guys .:thumbsup2

I agree with your daughters. I enjoyed the HRH Club Level more than the BWI Concierge. I especially appreciated the breakfast, as it is not easy to find a quick breakfast spot at Universal.

Our favourite breakfast at Universal is at the Boulangerie. The family loves their breakfast croissantwiches that comes with fresh fruit. They have a similar item at Croissant Moon at IOA. This is our big treat when we visit Universal and prefer it to the club breakfasts at any of the hotels. They are also very reasonably priced!

Thanks for that tip! We wondered if there were good breakfast spots at the parks!:)

I had the same question about the HRH and read some not so good reviews on another thread and now I am not sure if it is worth it. THe best price I can get for early may is $414 per night and reading that some of the rooms view the carpark, I am not as excited as I once was.

Hope someone can convince me otherwise !!

I didn't book YET as I am still working out the details with parents and kids. We are going for a long sweet 16 weekend I am bring two other kids besides my daughter and my friend. It is hard to work out the dates as some are off from school and others are not. We would like to go may 1 - may 5th but are more likely going to have to cut out one day . We will see . i am also looking into booking through a travel agent maybe or seeing if I can get a better deal on something. This is just as much as a huge party would be here . thanks for asking we will see what we come up with we have been so busy with all the events this month that it has been put me behind in booking something.

hey coastermom, we'll be there the same time. We are going May 2 - 7.

Coming all the way ffrom down under?? Wow I thought I had a long trip :rotfl: .

My only gripe about HRH Club is that at peak times the lounge can be a real zoo. And it doesn't seem to matter what time of day you drop in, it's always mobbed.

So I guess it depends on when you go. Although Club is popular, so even if the hotel is not full, Club may still be booked solid.
