Is Cinderella a hypocrite?

You don't have to, my DD11 likes her enough for both of us. :) Cinderella is her favorite, and man the look on her face when she met her for the first time.....priceless. :)
Awwww! I know. The excitement of our kids really is priceless. I took my daughter when she was two and she was going to explode with excitement for the characters. I'm lucky to have captured the best moments on video. Don't worry, I'm a firm protector of the magic and would NEVER insult a character in front of a child (whether they like them or not). But we're all adults here, and this thread was just meant in fun. :flower3:

My DD was 6 when we first went, we ate at AG and she was so excited to meet the Princesses. So was her sister, she was 9 and they both loved it. Heck they still love it at 11 and 15! lol

Cinderella is not my favorite Princesses either, my fave is Aurora. :)

Mine too! I also think her story is more interesting and I love the artwork in the movie. :thumbsup2

I like Aurora much better. She had more of a life that I would want. Out in nature, a loving upbringing and a beautiful voice. Then she gets to be a princess after all of that, too? Nice. The princess I most relate with, though, (if anyone else even considers her one) is Pocahontas.

In light of the starting question of this thread, it's quite interesting who Cinderella turns to when Lucifer (or Lucifee if you prefer) is on the verge of ruining everything. Yes, that's right, she turns to the dog, who gets to live his dream of catching the cat.

And I'm a firm believer that dragon fighting is a much better way to get the girl. ;)

Tee-hee-hee!!!! It just gets better. I love it!

Ok, there is an interesting question. Would you rather have a prince who fights his way through thorns and slays a dragon to get to you or one who sends his servants to find you with only one shoe to aid in the search? If the first one would fight evil itself to reach his true love, you'd think the other one could have at least gone out to look for himself. After all, he should be able recognize her without the shoe.

I would much rather have the one who fights thru thorns and dragons (or even fights angry villagers) than one who sends servants out to find me. LOL

That's true.....LOL Does Snow White's?
Now that you mention it, I don't think we even know Snow White's name. My movie's in storage right now, but I'm pretty sure they say they "called" her Snow White because of her appearance. That's different from being "named", isn't it?

I always thought that was her name. :confused3

The Beast doesn't have a name either, does he? And not to always pick on Beauty and the Beast because I really like that movie, but don't you think he was drawn funny? When the Beast turns human, I mean. It looks like they let the junior animator do that part and he just doesn't look right to me. Actually, I there were a few times I thought that about Belle too.

Hmmm yes, I think maybe his name is simply "charming" LOL and no, I don't think Snow has a name either. Interesting....never even thought of that before. Aurora has 3 names but her fellow Princess is simply Snow White....LOL
