I'm going to WDW next week and I'm 18. Am I too 'old' to hunt for my fave disney chars, get pics etc and trade pins with CMs?

No. I absolutely love seeing characters. I'm 27 and child free.:)

My DS16 had me ask for Toy Story at ASM this will always be his fave Guess I'm saying Go For It plan those m&g nobody is ever to"old" Have Fun;-)

Never ever!

My boyfriend and I are nineteen and we waited 85 minutes yesterday to meet the princes and princesses in Town Square.

We haven't pin traded in awhile now, but we definitely enjoy it.

Who cares what everyone else thinks? :) It's fun!

Absolutely not!! I'm 18, and I love pin training, and meeting the characters.

I was in the line to meet Woody and Buzz (Childhood!) and I was the happinest person to be there. All the kids where tired and did not care to be there:lmao:. It was SO magical. The pictures are priceless, and I got a lot of likes on Facebook. It was neat also because I was next up and a green army man started to interact with me in line. He went with me to the meet and greet. I was the only person he visited and he left! I loved having all the attention of those three. Again magical.

Don't miss the opportunity to met characters. I also met Captain America at Universal and he was super nice. Although I will admit Spiderman was very awkward. Haha, we had no idea what to talk about which surprised me because I loved the Amazing Spider-man movie but guess I could not think of anything. He was also nice and even held a little piece of paper saying happy birthday to my friend. I posted the picture on Facebook on her birthday and she LOVED IT.

If you want to meet Pooh and Tigger, do so in the Toy Shop in the UK pavilion. It was indoors and a tiny line. Actually, I was the youngest person in line. Everyone loves Pooh!

I'm a huge Brave fan, so I met Merida two months ago and honestly it was probably my best disney memory (other than seeing cinderella castle for the first time ever). It'll take me forever to write out the whole story, but I did on some other thread.

Anyway, meeting characters is still amazing, and everyone in my family except my dad pin trades. My mom was even the one who introduced me.

No way! You are never too old for disney!:worship:::MickeyMo

My brother had to meet the Evil stepsisters last year and that was the best time ever! The pictures are awesome! and He was 12 at the time.

I'm sixteen and love PINS (and the idea of pin trading, except I love my pins so much I don't want to trade them!!!) I have seen loads of adults do pin trading too.

As for meeting characters, I really enjoy it, but my family wouldn't like waiting in lines to see them and aren't as bothered about meeting characters as me. So I make sure we go to lots of character meals, as I plan our ADRs. It makes it easier and more delicious!!!) My family enjoys it then. My mum actually asks to go to 1900PF to meet the ugly stepsisters and stepmother. :)

You're never too old for Disney! I'd say; trade and hunt away! That's part of the magic isn't it? And just because you "grow up" doesn't mean the magic of Disney is beneath you! :)

Personally I believe that the character meets are the same thing as watching the fireworks. It's part of the entertainment featured in the theme parks.

Pin trading is especially good because the pins have value as souvenirs. I just realized that the pins do have dates on them. Especially pins from special events, limied editions, etc.

I love to pin trade! I will be going in May with my aunt and two cousins, and now I have them hooked on the idea. Can't wait!princess:

You are NEVER too old! That's what I love about WDW! You can do whatever you want and not worry about what the people around you think, because they are from around the country, some out of the country. Chances of seeing them again are slim to none. I love pin trading and seeing characters! princess:
