Is Boatrights worth the trip if not staying at Port Orleans?

Not worth going out of your way to eat there, especially when you are a boat ride away from Disney Springs. Pretty ordinary food, at best. It would be way, way at the bottom of my list. Save some time and money and just eat in the food court if you don't feel like leaving the resort.

Y'all are getting me nervous! Just booked our arrival night dinner here at 6:15 and a carriage ride at 8:30. It's our honeymoon so I want a good experience. Do you think the timing is good in between the two?

If you like Cajun food, absolutely. They have 2 GREAT entrees - the rest of the entree menu is average.

We love the gumbo, crawfish etouffee, shrimp & grits and pecan pie. This is the only "must do" meal for our family every trip.

That's kind of what I was thinking. In our family, he LOVES cajun food. Me, I could live without it. You'd probably get a "like it/hate it" review from the two people who would go together. What's prevented us from making an ADR is that I can't find anything at all appealing.

If you like cheese and shrimp, the shrimp & grits plate is awesome. My wife doesn't care for Cajun food or grits, but she loves this. It is not spicy at all. But for those who like neither seafood not Cajun food, I would recommend giving Boatwrights a miss.

Thanks-shrimp and grits sounds like a good choice for me!
