Is Artist Point Bad?

We go there every trip. We love it. Haven't had a bad meal, or experience there yet. Going again next month.

I've been to every Signature on property and it ranks #1 for me. The soup itself is worth the trip!

Well because we were staying at WL last year, we added it to our list of 12 restaurants, and it was awesome..In fact as we are staying at WL next year, we will be making an ADR when our window opens..

I know, right? I'm dying to try that portobello soup, though and now is not the time to shuffle or change ADRs for Christmas. In fact, 179 days out is not the time ti change ADRs, either. It is what it is. My mom said it best - no one gets sick there (knock on wood) and the food isn't disgusting, it just wasn't as good as the writer would expect from a Signature. Oh well - live and learn.

Yeah - Fort Wilderness may be the best resort for Christmas. Totally looking forward to that!

Just a side note but Artist Point isn't at Fort Wilderness; it's at the Wilderness Lodge. Don't want you ended up at the wrong resort. (And Fort Wilderness is ALWAYS the best resort )

We eat deluxe dining plan all the time. We do two meals a day with on being a signature. We've had great meals and not so great meals at all of them save my favorite Flying Fish. All restaurants have good days and bad days for food and service. Nothing has ever been inedible or so bad we did not leave a tip.

This is my favorite TS restaurant at Disney! We just ate there and once again, the food was excellent. I always enjoy the salmon, and I've never had a bad appetizer (the soup is always fantastic!) The cobbler for dessert is my favorite dessert of everything at Disney too.

I will say this: we used to have a regular server there who was out of this world good. He's recently retired, and the server we had last month, while very friendly and sweet, was slooooooow. She introduced herself and bought water, then took a drink order that took 15 minutes to come to the table. We didn't get our appetizers until we'd been there 45 minutes! As I said, she was very nice, so it might have been the kitchen was just running behind, but it did make for a very long meal!

We'd still go back, as this has been the only blip eating there in seven years.
