It looks like Minnie's breakfast thing is at the Plaza Hotel and that is OUT of the park so we can go anytime right?

But Ariel's grotto is IN the park so we need do that when we have tickets-right?

Just trying to plan our time. We will be IN the park Thursday and Sunday so thinking of the character breakfast on Sat morning. This way it will be a Disney bonus even though we're not going to the park that day.
But assuming Ariel is IN the park we'll aim for Thurs I think since Sun is bound to be busier.
thanks

Minnie's breakfast is at the Plaza Inn inside Disneyland, so you need to have park tickets to eat there.

Ariel's is inside Disney's California Adventure park, so you also need admission for that one.

HOwever, Goofy's Kitchen is in the Disneyland Hotel and serves, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lilo and Stitch character breakfast is in the Paradise Pier Hotel, and Storytellers Cafe character breakfast is in the Grand Californian Hotel. All three of those being in hotels don't require any type of park ticket. YOu can make a reservation (priority seating) for any of those by calling: 714-781-3463 up to 60 days in advance.

Ahh, I thought Plaza Inn was a hotel-now I understand.
I think we may go for Goofy's kitchen depending on the reviews right before we go-I've heard a mixed bag there lately. Storytellers will be a good second choice.
thanks!

I love Goofy's, we have eaten there around 10 times in the past few years and never had anything but great food and a lot of fun. Storytellers is wonderful food in a very nice atmosphere, more low key. Just be aware that at Storytellers, they have fewer characters, and ones that are not so well known. Its usually Koda and Kenai from Brother Bear, as well as Chip and Dale. Sometimes Meeko makes an appearance too. At Goofy's you will see a very wide variety including at least one princess but usually a couple. Plus Goofy, Pluto, and several others.

I second Goofys! We saw 8 characters on our last visit - Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Fairy Godmother, Jasmine, Captain Hook & Peter Pan. It was a wonderful experience!
