I'm not familiar with the area at all. Can you see Aquatica and tell that it's a waterpark from the roads/hotels near SeaWorld? My kids are waterpark fanatics. If they'll see it, then I probably should include it in our itinerary. But if they won't even notice it's there...I can be cheap and stick to our hotel pool. ;) TIA!

It can be seen from the road. They have tall multicolored flume slides that are quite visable. It can also be seen from Krakken and the flume ride at SW.

Also if you stop in The Terrace counter service restaurant (next to The Hamlet) they have a miniature diorama of the water park.

Can you walk there from the Sea World entrance? We will be taking a bus from our hotel. I know it drops off near SW.
Thanks!

There's a sea world shuttle to take to you Aquatica.

You do get a second day free with your 1 day admission, you can use that to go to Aquatica the following day. If you're visiting during the summer time, they have to park open till 10pm. You can go late afternoon and into the night time, because by 4-5pm people are leaving because they're burnt crisp and ready for dinner. Then you have the whole park to yourself. Last summer I created a topic about my every week adventure to Aquatica, and I always went past 3pm.

Thanks, y'all ~ sounds like I won't be able to get away with leaving Aquatica off the schedule. :goodvibes

Good to know about going in the evening. I would've guessed it would be crowded with locals then after they get off work, but it doesn't that way at all.

(Sandra, I searched for your aquatica thread but couldn't find it. If you happen to check back in here, would you mind linking? Only if it's not a bother, though. :upsidedow I did find another report that talked about crowds thinning out in the evening.)

i'm on my phone so i can't link it. But it's called aquatica twice a week. There's a lot of chit chatting but every so often i made a post about how the crowds were.
And by the time you get here in the summer, they'll have the new slide up. I saw the peices in a field by the exit road. I can't wait to try it.

You can see it if you're on the Journey to Atlantis ride ~ or the skyride. It's a very fun water park!
