Hi AOA fans!

My teenage son is graduating in June 2019. We have been visiting WDW since he was 4. We are big fans of WDW everything. I would love to make this trip super Disney style. He grew up with CARS so I thought it would be fun to book a suite. With Star Wars coming up in 2019 and so many new things in the parks. Tell me how fantastic staying at AOA is. Is the price worth it for a suite?

Thanks!

would say no - if you are in the park from opening until closing - just go with all stars - and go visit AOA. then decide if you next trip you might try AOA.

No. It's cute, but the theme will wear thin very quickly, particularly if you are going to be in the parks most of the time. I would save your money and book a regular room at your resort of choice.

Thanks for the reply! We have stayed at POP in the past and a few moderates. Just this past June 2017 we stayed at Music for a last minute trip using a discount code and we had a blast. Music was clean and over all nice. We are looking at Movies just because the value was fine last time and Movies will have their room renovations finished. I will book Movies(when 2019 rates are released) then for some reason we are able to upgrade I can look it to that closer in 2019.

For me it would be the sleeping arrangements. And the specialness of graduating seems well worth the one time extra expense.

My motto is, not to pay more if I am not going to be there to enjoy it.

My answer is always the same. If money is tight stay at a less expensive resort. If it isn’t stay where ever you like!

For the price of AoA I’d be inclined to book POR. Love the grounds, boat to Disney Springs, Bob Jackson’s Show, etc. I see you’ve stayed there before. It’s our fav resort. If you have the budget I’d also think about YC/BC. Since it’s a special trip. Your son would enjoy SAB, and the Boardwalk area. And being able to walk to Epcot and DHS. Watch for discounts.

I agree with this. If you are willing to spend the extra money, I'd be inclined to go up in resort category (a mod or deluxe) over booking a value suite.
