Is AOA during pool refurb a deal breaker IYO?

Thinking of AOA December 2020. We wanted a cabin at FW but it’s over $400/night and AOA is under $300. Would you say that going during the pool refurb is a deal breaker? There are other pools, right? What are your thoughts? Thank you!

We always prefer the small pools in Cars and Little Mermaid, anyway. The Big Blue is just so ... Big. And ... Blue.

Seriously though, the main pool can get too noisy and crowded, even though it's really nicely themed. The other pools do the trick!

There are other pools at AOA. As far as temperatures go, it has been known to be as low at night as in the 40s and has high as 95 degrees. The God news, all pools at Disney resorts are heated to 82 degrees. The problem, when you get out!!!

I do not understand. What is this "get out" action of which you speak? Once I'm in the water, I decline to exit until the air temperature is sensible.

Well then, if you go swimming in the evening, you might be in the pool til noon the following day.

I have stayed at AoA. The Big Blue Pool is nice, but honestly either of the other pools will suffice. The Cars pool has excellent theming.

Can’t see too much swimming in Dec. would not be an issue for us.
