Is anything working in Magic Kingdom today?

We’ve been in the park for over 45 minutes, and so far big thunder is down, splash Mountain is down, haunted mansion is down, and Pirates of the Caribbean is down. Also jungle Cruise will not open at the regular time because they’re having major technical difficulties too. Is anything working today? It is Friday, June 4.

We were at Jungle Cruise in the queue yesterday evening at around 6 pm. The wait was posted at 40 min when we got in line. Waited 20 min in the sweltering heat and left because we’d hardly moved at all in those 20 min. The wait the rest of the night was listed anywhere from 55 to 70 min! When we got out of line, I thought, “Something’s up.”

Jungle Cruise was our longest MK wait last week. And we went at 8 pm. There was obviously something screwy going on. It took a solid 45 minutes where Lines had it under 25.

The saga continues! Only one track is running in space mountain, So a posted 10 minute wait is already up to 20 minutes, and we still aren’t close to loading.

Ugh. That's awful when you do everything right for a successful RD, and Disney lets you down.

When MK closed yesterday HM, BTMR, and PP were down. We were actually in the HM line, when it closed down. So sorry. I hope it gets better soon.

I hope the rest of the day gets better. We had an MK day like that my last trip in Feb 2020. That was the day the Jungle Cruise boat sank, Splash mountain was closed for the week, 7DMT went down and by the time it went back up the line was 3 hours long, etc. Some days things just keep hitting the fan!

Yuck, sounds like you were not destined to go to MK today. This is when not being able to hop until 2 is a pain. In the olden days (when we had to walk uphill in the snow both ways to go to school) if you had hoppers and were having a day like that, no problem, just hop to another park.

rides started around 7:20. We just chose... poorly ... by heading back to Frontierland.

everything is back up except big thunder, so things are looking up!
I knew I could count on the disboards to understand the pain of planning a perfect rope drop and watching it crumble.

Do they still give recovery fastpasses if you are waiting in line for a significant amount of time and then it gets dumped?

I spoke too soon! We were just about to get on the little mermaid ride, and the lights turned on and they evacuated the entire building. No idea what went on, and no fast passes given or anything like that.

in 40 years of visiting visiting Disney World, I’ve never experienced a day like this.

Do they still give recovery fastpasses if you are waiting in line for a significant amount of time and then it gets dumped?

We didn’t, but we had been in line maybe a minute or 2. That’s the only ride that’s gone down on us, while on this trip.
