Is anything going on the weekend of November 8th?

Can anyone tell me if this is a weekend that has events such as cheer groups or marathons?

Sunday the 11th is Veteran's Day, so the parks might be busy because of the 3 day Federal holiday.

Yes there's lots going on at that time.
-First of the MVMCP's
-Last days of F&W
-Possibly the Xmas day parade taping
-Veterans Day weekend
-Possibly Jersey week

I did that weekend last year. It was totally fine. I did run into multiple people from NJ, lol. But this year- omg what happened to resort availability this year?!

During Food&Wine, yes. Wifey and I noticed crowds at F&W get larger on Thurs as opposed to just Fri, Sat & Sun. She speculated that some locals were taking off early to attend and a few we spoke with said that was the case.

I stayed a few days into Jersey week one year and let me tell you, it was just like the real housewives. You can pick them out walking, the woman were all made up full make up, heals, giant hair, the whole shabang. The sad part about it was that they acted like Junior high girls. More then once I ended up walking behind a group of the woman(no idea where their families were) but I would hear them talk catty about other woman and being nasty. I know all people from Jersey are obviously like that but come on, can you be any more of a stereo type. I am a middle aged Mom from the midwest and I was kinda surprised that people really act like that.
