Mine could care less. Granted, she's still a bit young (2 1/2) but I'd love if she was! She's obsessed with Mickey and the gang so we've got a character meal lined up at Liberty Tree Tavern. We aren't doing a princess meal because I'm afraid she'd freak out. She hates Santa so I don't know how she'd react to them...face characters I mean. All she wants to do is watch Mickey movies or the animal movies. Could care less about Cinderella, Little Mermaid, etc. That is fine with me. I'm just glad she loves The Mouse!

Just curious though as to whether your DDs started liking the princesses or if any of them just don't care. Thanks! :goodvibes

Oh yeah, I'm kinda borrowing off the idea of the previous thread about the boys liking the princesses, which I just think is soooo cute!

DD7 was never really into the princesses. DD4 likes them OK, but she would much prefer to eat with Pooh at Crystal Palace or with Mickey at Chef Mickey's. They like the movies OK, but they would pick another movie first. DD4 likes to dress up as a princess, though!

Are you sure Mickey is at LTT? I remember Goofy, Minnie, Chip, Dale and Pluto, but we haven't done that meal for a long time. I know Mickey is at Chef Mickey's and at breakfast at O'Hana.

I've got 3 girls and none of them were really into them. Last time we went to WDW (2005), we didn't see any princesses. This time when we go they said we have to get their autographs. I don't know why.

I have all boys but one of my good friends has a daughter, now almost 7, who was anti-princess. She was also Mickey-obsessed. She would actually get quite upset if someone called her "Princess" or assumed she was in to the princess thing.

My daughter (used to) sound like OPs! She was definitely not into the princess thing, and only cared to stop and take pictures with the non-face characters.
She loved all the movies with princesses, but was never into the whole "dressing up to the parks" kind of thing.

She just turned 13 Monday, along with her brother, and now that she's back into Disney, she loves the princesses more now. She's in love with their dresses and wants to be Belle for Halloween! :rotfl2:

DD has never been fond of the princesses. Even when she was younger she preferred Beast, Chip n Dale, Tigger, etc...

My DD's (who is 4) Top Five:

5. Lightning McQueen
4. Trains
3. Peter Pan, Captain Hook
2. Buzz and Woody
1. Dinosaurs

She just turned 4 and had a dinosaur themed party. Ever since she was two she has loved playacting/pretending with Peter Pan, Hook, and the Crocodile. And she has seen Toy Story 2 more times than I can count. For a while there she wouldn't go anywhere without Woody and Buzz.

My younger DD is a bit more interested in the princesses. She's also a HUGE Mickey fan and is shaping up to be more of a WDW nut than her mom! She loves to watch the "Disneyland Fun" video whenever she can!

My DD is 3 1/2 and doesn't really care about the princesses. She's also afraid of Santa, so the only character meal we're doing is the Crystal Palace for dinner, and I'm hoping Pooh doesn't come to close. LOL

She loves Mickey too and her favorite show is the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but I don't know what she's going to do if she sees a huge Mickey coming at her, so no Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

DD4 has shown some interest in the princesses in the past year: Cinderella, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty. She also likes Minnie, Piglet and Tinkerbell. Her favorites however are pirates :confused3 and she can often be seen in her Cinderella dress wielding her brother's Peter Pan sword.:rotfl2:

DD 2 isn't into them either. Give her Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Pooh any day! She'll watch the movies but isn't into seeing them. When we take her to 1900 she becomes bashful and tries to hide, but hen the mice come around she's all smiles :lmao: Instead we keep to places like LTT and CM where all of her favorites hand out.

My DD7 has never been into the princesses, she is more of a Pixar type Disney fan. She is a big Beauty & the Beast fan, If she had to pick a favorite it would be Belle.

On DD's 1st trip at 17 months, she was more into Mickey and especially Minnie. Screamed on the top of her lungs when I tried to get a pic with Belle.

Last year at almost 3 , she was getting into them Her and I went to the Norway breakfast and she had her 3rd birthday at 1900 Park Fare.

Now at 3 1/2, she obsessed!;)

My DD5 has never been all that interested in the princesses. She likes them fine, but much prefers the animal characters. Her favorite part of Cinderella is the mice, etc. We did the princess breakfast on our last trip and she liked getting the autographs, but wasn't too interested in much interaction. I didn't feel like we got our money's worth. You might try the Crystal Palace character meal with Pooh and friends. We've done that one twice and DD loved it. We've also enjoyed several different meals with Mickey and friends. It's actually a little harder to fuel a Disney obsession with a nonprincess- loving daughter since princess merchandise is everywhere. :) We seem to have been successful, though, judging by all the Disney stuff in our house!

My almost 4yo DD could care less about the Princesses. She's a bit of a tomboy. She loves Goofy, Mickey, and the gang, so that's what we focus on.

My DD(5) goes thru stages where she is really into the princess' and then not so much. We leave in 8 weeks and I have no idea wether she will really care about them at that time. I asked her who she would like to see at Disney besides Lilo and Stitch and she said "Alice in Wonderland" :rotfl: ??!! Your kidding right? As far as LTT, I too planned a character meal at LTT hoping to see Mickey.

My 2 year old doesn't really care about princesses. She prefers Mickey right now. I'm thinking of doing her room in a mickey theme with red, white, and black colors. She even had a mickey and friends party. She does know who cinderella is thanks to big sister.
My 4 year old is a huge princess fan. She has been this way since about 2.5. Mermaid was her favorite but she has moved on now to Cinderella. She had a princess theme party for her 3rd birthday and wants to do it again for her 5th birthday

I have two girls...My DD4 is into princesses and my DD6 is more into the Disney/Pixar stuff. When I signed up for the DISboards, their favorite movie was Toy Story, thus the name toystoryduo.:goodvibes

While planning our August trip, my DD Ashlyn (6) informed me that she is "SO DONE" with princesses! Last trip in Dec. of 2005 she and her sister dressed up for CRT and the Norway princess breakfast! She said she would get her picture taken with them if I wanted her to, but she does not want to eat with them!:confused3 Of course, her sister goes along with whatever she says, so there are no princess meals for us this trip! And of course, wouldn't you know it, when I called at the 180 day mark for ADRs I got through on the first try at exactly 7 am and I was not make ADRs for CRT!!:rotfl2: Go figure!

I'm pretty sure LTT does not have Mickey there. As far as I know it is Minnie, Chip, Dale, and Pluto, and maybe Goofy? No Mickey though, although someone correct me if I'm wrong. I wish Mickey was there but DD will be so happy with all the others she probably won't even miss him.

I was debating between a princess meal or the Playhouse Disney meal and decided on Playhouse Disney. I figured she loves  Jojo, Goliath, and the Little Einsteins so we had to do it! They're only little once. Has anyone done that meal lately?
