Is anyone going to wait until after Fantasyland's Expansion

Sort of. We're taking a little break from WDW because the big kids want to do Washington DC and a non-Disney Orlando trip once the Harry Potter stuff opens at Universal, and we only have so much time to travel all together because of schedule conflicts. So that will put our next big Disney trip late 2012/early 2013, right around the planned completion of the expansion, so barring any huge, long, major delays I'll adjust our dates to be there after the opening.

But I'm a SAHM and I often take the kids on mini-trips without DH, and we'll probably take at least two or three Disney mini-trips between now and then. Neither of my girls wants to go 3 years without going to Disney, and with the youngest still free until she turns 3 (July 2011), I'm tentatively planning on 3 long weekend trips between now & then.

Things can change but for now, yes we are. It is going to depend on where our next duty station is. If we find out we are pcsing to the other coast or out of the country then we will make a one day trip because it will be awhile before we can get back.

If we stay on this coast we will wait until the expansion is done.

No plans on waiting, but no definite trip planned right now either. We were supposed to go next month, but because of lay offs, we had to cancel. We are hoping that we can go back in September or October of this year though. I am so excited about the expansion and our DD will be around 6 when it is all done, so it will be perfect! But I cannot imagine waiting that long to take her back again!

No. We just got back yesterday and have another trip planned for July. Also, thinking about a couple of long weekends in the fall.

2012??? What on earth are they doing? Two years is a huge amount of time!

ETA: I saw the you-tube video...no wonder it's going to take so long!!! No queue for an expanded Dumbo sounds awesome! But is anyone worried that with all the focus on the princesses, that the boys will be left out with not much to hold their interest?

I don't PLAN to wait.... Unless something gets in the way of my fall trip with some friends of mine.

Guess that means I won't be riding Dumbo this time around......

I agree, the boys (and tomboys alike) need something for them too.

Is "Carsland" just for Disneyland??? That'd be right up a boy's alley.
