It's not 7 am on the east coast yet... could that be the problem?
Best of luck to all of you trying... the discount we received Thursday MADE my week!
And could I offer a suggestion, being that there's still almost half an hour before they open? Have a plan B. If the resort you want doesn't show availability with the offer, decide what you want your next move to be. Which resort is your plan B, and what's your plan C? We switched from Beach Club to Yacht Club-- pretty much a no-brainer for us, and our
travel agent did it first, and asked second (I was at work at the time... have I mentioned how much I LOVE our travel agent???)
For what it's worth, here's the math I did for a neighbor. She currently is staying a week at a Mermaid room at AoA, which isn't discounted. Her non-discounted price of $130 per night translates to a 7 night cost of $910.
With the discounts, she can get 7 nights at:
- AoA, suite, for a discounted price of $1844.50 (down from $2170)
- POP, for a discounted price of $714, (down from $840)
- Moderate-- CBR, POFQ, CSR-- for $864, down from $1148
- Contemporary, for a discoutned price of $1899, down from $2716.
(I admit, I did round when it came to separate weekday/weekend prices, so those are approximations.) But if she's willing to forego The Little Mermaid, she can upgrade to a Mod and still save almost $50. Or save almost $200 by changing to POP.
Do the math, folks. And good luck!!
