no ddp. it's not a big deal for us. We're not big eaters and I'm vegetarian with so many food allergies that i prefer to pack my own snacks and small lunch. Works well for me

Sorry but can some one clarify..on Orbitz it offers the 35% Disney discount then you can add the 20% DISCOVER code on top of that?

Did the 35% show up on Orbitz once Disney released the new summer discounts?
I thought you had to book through Disney to get the 35% off.

Disney rack rate for a wood view room = $331 per night excl tax

same room with the 35% discount = $215.15 per night excl tax

I'm staying for 6 nights (thats why its 35%) so total before tax with disney = $1290.90. After tax ($161.40) works out at $1452.30

compare with orbitz Discover promo = $1032.72 before tax or $1207.02 after tax

So additional saving after tax (in my case) approx 17%

also i added 5 day park tickets for 2 people an extra $595.72. 3 day base ticket with 2 days free

Where do you type in the promo code with Orbitz to see the final rate? Is it not until after you type in all your CC information and everything else? I like to look into pricing before I give information... IF I decide to cancel and book through them.

Promo code is at the bottom of the little search engine on the front page. Instead of Orlando, search for Walt Disney world resort, then it brings up just the Disney hotels. Then it takes you to a page and shows you the hotels listed with the Disney summer rate. Click on the one you are interested in and it will show you which room types are available. up in the right hand corner it will show you the cost of the room less the discount, plus tax and fees. You don't have to put in CC info first to see the final price. I just booked and save an extra 100 over what I was saving with the summer discount.
