Is anyone else gonna watch the Tom Cruise interview tomorrow night?

Tom Cruise's ego has grown taller than his height. I will not be watching.

Although I still enjoy Top Gun... :-D

People have decided that Scientology is only a cult, not a religion, so there is no need to be concerned with showing some respect and getting the facts straight.

Scientology IS a cult. It was made up by some freaky science fiction writer who was obviously :smokin:

ETA: Love the "galatic overlord" :lmao: :rolleyes1

On Brangelina's impending (and competing) arrival: "Playdates! I've gotta give him a ring. I'm really happy for them. I am really happy for them. He's a good guy, Brad." (Said the still in-utero Jolie-Pitt offspring of the playdate invitation, "Thanks, but no thanks.")

Ok, this whole article was seriously weird, but this part made me :rotfl:
Even a fetus has the sense to STAY AWAY!

I particuarly love this from The Sun's reader feedback section:
Perhaps Katie Holmes could hold Tom Cruise's testicles throughout the birth and see if he remains silent!!!

Julie Lisle
Macau

Also, while The Sun is a tabloid, it is not considered quite on the same level as the National Enquirer ;)

Yes, well, "galactic overlord" kind of reminds me of a few other religions that billions of people belong to. How is Scientology any weirder?
It isn't. It's just more new.

So, why haven't you married her yet, Tom!? What are you waiting for!?!?
I'm hoping that they won't be able to come to a pre-nuptual agreement. I keep hearing that her dad (a lawyer) is getting really tough with it. I'm sure to the point where Tom isn't happy with it. Remember he left Nicole just before their 10th anniversary which would have given her a lot more money from him. I really hope this stunt comes to an end soon.

Well, they do discuss things other than celebrities :teeth: (they're even political!)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that when I first saw that article it was in the NE.

Unless youre a Scientologist - seriously, please go research some of the past members points of views. Its a cult.

I am all for freedom of religion - but the whole point of that is to be able to believe freely. Once youre in the CoS, youre stuck there... or close to ruined if you attempt to leave. What other organized religion stalks you? :confused3

You may feel you are all for freedom of religion, but your posts don't seem reflect that.
You can find groups consisting of past members of many religions claiming the same treatment. I have a friend who was stalked by the JW's after she left her Kingdom Hall, it doesn't mean that I think all JW's are crazy or that they are a cult. Calling a religion a cult is so arrogant.

Actually, all religions are cults (when we talk about Ancient Greece or Egypt or whatever we talk about 'the cult of Ptah' or 'the cult centre at Memphis').

I agree that now it has negativity surrounding it, but essentially all organized religions come under the term of 'cult'.

I seriously doubt it. Besides, the Braves are on and I don't like to miss games.

You are technically right, so I can't disagree. ;)
But the modern use of the word cult is meant as an insult.

I think what we are experiencing is someone who has as much fame and money as you can possibly get, but is brainwashed by a cult. It is the classic textbook case. The things he says and the way he acts has all to do with being brainwashed.

It just goes to show me that money and fame is not all that is cracked up to be. I used to like Tom, but now I just pity him. It really is sad what happened to this guy. I also feel sorry for her and her parents.

If you ever want to see what a bunch of crap sciencetology is go to their website. It is such nonsense, I can't imagine how anyone can buy into it.

Holly, don't waste your time. Give up. Remember the old adage about never discuss politics or religion?????

As for the original question, no. I'd rather pull fleas off my cat...

Yeah - but it wouldnt apply here, since it's a cult. :)

Okay...Now my family is truly wondering what I am hooting at in here! :rotfl2: :lmao: Oh gee that was too funny. I like the way she thinks.;)
Kim

On whether he told ex-wife Nicole Kidman, with whom he has two children, about the pregnancy: "It's not like anything I had to or didn't have to do. I wish her well."

I think he's missing the same sensitivity chip as Brad Pitt.

Did you know Scientologists think that aliens came down from the planets and killed off everyone who were holding hands round the volcano except for L Ron Hubbard?? Each level of Scientology requires a huge cash donation to be enlightened into the next level. $20,000 $50,000

Not that I wish anything bad on poor little Katie, but what happens if she gets post partum?? will he kick her out?
