I've had mine for two years, I'm thinking I'll stay in for long term. I was just wondering what others' thoughts were in light of the resignations.

We're holding ours too.......

Of course we don't have a lot- but I'm in it for the long haul.

Well, since one share is in a frame on DD's wall, we'll be holding on to it. ;) The few other shares are only on paper so, why bother dumping them?

I dropped a bunch a few years ago after some questionable dealings. I'll wait a bit to see what happens this time around. Eisner needs to get off his high horse and make the Company function better plus get a successor trained. He did a good job early on but has faltered lately. The Company is so large and diverse now that a top leader who will deligate to effective, talented associates is necessary. Keeping the CM's of the Parks, Cruise Line and Stores is also essential. These are the people most closely in contact with the public. If CM's aren't happy, Guests aren't happy and they aren't happy with the Company as a result. Unhappy (&/or bad economy) = low profits = layoffs = closings = unstable/stagnant/dropping stock price.

It may be time to do more weeding of the portfolio.

We're hanging on. Disney is not going to fold so there's no rush and even if there are some troubled times the stock will eventually double, if not triple, what it is now. Then it will be time to split again (tripled last time).
