Is anyone a character performer for Spring

I thought that when people started to find out if they are a charcter or not could post here. Say when you got the letter and how long it took. Also, what charcter role you were offered. I have not found out yet, today marks week 2!

Hi! I am Mandee and I auditioned October 24 in Rochester. I recieved my email 12 days later, November 4th. Once I read the words "Congratulations!" it all came out. I will be a character performer for the Spring Advantage program. It doesn't say what I will be and I am told that I won't find out until I arrive down in FL. Also, they said anyone that has been considered for a face character will not only have to wait until they arrive but will also go through another screening...oh the torture!!! (I've been told that I look like Tinerbell and I hope that it's true!) I wish the best of luck to everyone that auditioned and I can't wait to hear all of the good news.

You don't find out your character "friends" until you arrive in FL. But if you know how tall you are, it's pretty easy to figure it out.

I didn't see what they measured me as but the girl behind me said it was 5 feet and 2 3/4 inches... which sounds about right. I think I am inbetween two categories but I am really hoping to get to be friends with Tinkerbell...

I am now on week three from my audition, and still have heard nothing. How long does it take to get an email, regrading the audition? I am going crazy!!

From what I have gathered there is no real time system. It all depends on how busy they are and how many people auditioned I think. I heard back faster than I was supposed to but I was also at the second audition in the country. So maybe yours will take longer since you were more in the middle? I am not sure its just a guess. Good luck though let us know when you hear back.

I auditioned in Rochester on the 24th as well, and I heard back in about 10 days (I was placed in the pool). I'd recommend sending a friendly e-mail Disney's way if you say it's been three weeks - I believe the next step sheet said 2-3 weeks.

Also, it might not be a good idea to post the list online. Disney doesn't really like that stuff put out in public.

I was measured at 59.4 inches which is like 4'11. Which is great becasue can play so many different characters.

Yeah that list isn't entirely accurate, they've changed the heights around for a bunch of characters. If anybody would like to know what all is in their range, however, just PM me what Disney measured you at and I'll look it up.

Hey Pixie and elphie! I auditioned in Rochester with you! Guess there's a lot of talent in our neck of the woods!

I'm writing to let people know that I was told by a contact down at recruiting that they had a HUGE number of people apply and it can take between 4 to 6 weeks to hear - so if you haven't heard yet, you will soon!

I auditioned the week before Halloween and I only just found out this Friday!

Ps Tink, 5'2" is waaay too tall for Tinker. I'm 5'2" as well This makes me sad cause I'll never get to be friends with Minnie Mouse!

I obviously don't remember you from the audition, but PM me and maybe we can all meet up for lunch before the end of the semester!
