Is America West Airlines part of the Resort Airline Check In?/

Last trip we used Delta and was able to leave our bags at the resort and have them waiting at the airport for us when we arrived when we used the resort check in.

Is america west a participating airline for this??

if not, do we just take our luggage on the bus to the airport and check in there??

What about when we get picked up at the airport, will they get our bags from AWA??

America West (which is changing its name to US Airways) does not participate in Resort Airline Check-in.

Yes, you can take the luggage onto to the Disney's Magical Express motorcoach. There's a luggage hold below the passenger level. The driver will handle your luggage. Once you get to the airport, you would check your luggage with your airline, just as you would if you arrived by cab.

For your inbound travel, you can use Disney's Magical Express transportation and luggage transfers. It doesn't make any difference what airline you're on.

USAirways and America West have merged. Be sure to take a look at the airlines website for any updated information regarding ticket counters. They are working on combining the ticket counters for the two airlines into one.
