Is AKL Bush Camp worth it?

We have a reservation for boy (11) for August at the Bush Camp at AKL. I am wondering if anyone has done this and can tell me if it is worth the time and money.

I just cancelled my ressie for Aug for this. We were going to let the kids do it as this is the last year DD will be able to. I just think it would have been a good thing when they were smaller not so sure about now.
