Is a LM room worth $27 more per night than Pop with new room only discounts?

I kind of knew that room only discounts would be announced and would not include LM rooms. I just priced it out and figure on a 6 night stay for wife, myself and 8 y/o DD, we would save $27 a night to stay at Pop (even more savings if staying at all star music). I know it is personal preference, but I'm wondering what most of you would do. We will probably keep the room, though honestly I don't think it is worth it. If we did switch, that would be $162 we could spend on food. What's your vote?

I guess it would depend on your budget and what's more important to you, since the rooms aren't open yet my guess is nobody has seen them to compare to POP. If money isn't an object I'd stay at the AoA resort, it's new and different, we're staying there the end of Sept. we usually stay at a deluxe but we wanted to stay at the new resort this time.

I agree it's a personal decision...however, having just returned from a stay at Pop a few weeks back, I'd happily stay at AoA for $27 extra per night.

An 8 year old is probably going to appreciate AoA more than POP. $162, in the giant scheme of WDW really isn't going to go very far, maybe a Character Dinner with photo package. AoA is brand new while POP could use some tender loving care. I would stay at AoA.

If money is a concern keep in mind that $120 would feed my family of 4 three counter service meals as my kids share an adult meal. Given the choice as a budgeter I'd stay at All Stars (Movies being my preference) and use the savings for meals.

I'd stay at POP and walk across to AoA to look at the theming. $160 can be quite a lot of food!!!!

I'm sticking with AOA over Pop for $15 less in November (AP rate), but it's only for one night. If it was a multiple night stay I might switch over to Pop.
