Is a 9:15 p.m. for Boma too late?

we have ADR's for Boma on a Wednesday when the AK is open late. it was the only time available. i am wondering if we should just cancel it as it seems very late and i wonder if we will be kind of "pushed" out of the restaurant.

has anyone else eaten this late and will we find the food to be kinda stale?

I have. The food was not stale (it's constantly replenished.) You won't feel rushed, there'll be lots of other late diners as well. If you arrive early. plan on strolling the grounds before dinner, maybe checking out the night goggles and visiting the gift shop, etc..

thanks so much for your input. i understand that Boma's closes at 10 pm. are the guests allowed to stay much past 10? i'm thinking that if we don't get seated until 9:15, it might be closer to 10:30 before we would be ready to leave.

You won't be rushed and fresh food will be available.

How late are the other parks open that night? Since AK will be closed you will have to take a bus to another park, probably MK or EP and transfer to a bus to your resort. If all other parks are closed you will have to take a bus to DTD and transfer there. Lines late at night at DTD can get bad but not always. Thats the only issue I have with Boma. Great restaurant but a pain to get back to resort late at night.

We had a late ADR last year. Something must have happened because they were extremely backed up. We didn't get seated until after 9:30 at which point we really weren't even that hungry anymore. They kept the restaurant open later because of the screw up, but clearly the wait staff wasn't happy. I love Boma but was really disappointed. This year we made an earlier reservation.

With the 3 hour time change, we always eat late. Boma was our first meal of the vacation for many trips and we never had an ADR before 9:30 and we were certainly never out before 10:00. It was nice as it started to empty and get quieter.

i have a 9:15 reservation as well. I am hoping it will still be as good as the last time we were there!! We loved it!!
