Is $99 into NY the best deal I am going to get?

I am thinking of just booking a flight into NY for $99. I have not seen much lower. I am starting to think getting deals for JFK, LGA and long Island below $99 is never going to happen.

Now my second question. Should I fly Delta or Jet blue home? I have my ticket going on Jet blue ($89 one way) but I dont know how they handle hurricanes and I dont want to be stuck in Orlando too long if there is one.

Should I do Delta for this reason or should I do the entire thing Jet Blue?

JetBlue is our #1!!! I'd buy it because you'll kick yourself if the price goes higher..

In the past JetBlue has been wonderful about weather related problems. One year a hurricane was hitting Fl. 2 days before our arrival date and they let us change our dates with no penalty.

FYI, JetBlues penalties are only $30 per person (vs. other airlines) are usually quite a bit higher...

Also..gotta love the tvs at every seat, newer planes, leather seats..and dunkin donuts coffee...

They also have alot less schedule changes than Delta.. If you book through JetBlue and the prices come down you can call them for a credit in voucher form which is valid for one year.

yesterday i booked sw for our aug/sept vacation we paid $99 each way not really a bargain but from what i have seen all the airlines in the ny area is either $99 or more one way :confused3 . However, at least we got the time slot we wanted. if you live on long island like i do why don't you down load on your computer the "ding" through sw last year i got $49 each way airfair.
so if i get the ding price i will receive a nice credit for future use:thumbsup2 .

When is it for?

We booked our May flight in February and got about 140 round trip out of JFK on Jet Blue.

I'm flying for about 90 bucks round trip Southwest out of ISP, but that's on a ding fare.

I usually have no problems finding airfare from NY to Orlando, 99 one way is pretty steep.

I am going to try to wait it out. I just downloaded the DING today and hopefully something will come about. I will continue watching jet blue also. I hope I can get a better deal then $99. I did get $89 going with the hopes that it would come down and I could get a credit to use coming back home.
