is 25th Anniversary ticket a voucher or paper ticket? Expires when?

I want it mailed to my house, not to use for possibly several years, so don't want to do will call.
I am buying it for my daughter's use, and may not be with her to show my DVC membership card.
Yes, she is a member of my household.
If it is a voucher, I would need to be there with my DVC membership and ID to acitivate, like with AP vouchers.
If it is a paper ticket, it could be used at gates, without proof of DVC membership.
I have read they say expire 2020 or 2030. Is that correct?
Has anyone got one yet had it mailed to their home?
If so, was it a voucher, or ticket? Does it still need a stop by Guest Services and proof of DVC membership to activate?
Thanks in advance.

Just like any other WDW MYW ticket, they don't expire if they are unused. I believe these tickets self activate when used to actually enter a park.

Thanks Michael for your quick response.
So people reporting they have an expiration date on the back of 2020 or 2030 is incorrect?
I know my AP vouchers bought in 2009-2011 dont' have one on the back.

this is from the DVC website about the mult-day ticket

Offer available for purchase from January 4, 2016 – March 31, 2016. Multi-day tickets are valid for admission to any one of the 4 theme parks per day. Tickets and any options purchased may be activated at any time and must be used within 14 days of first use. All tickets and options are nontransferable and nonrefundable and exclude activities/events separately priced. Water Parks subject to rehabilitation, seasonal, and weather closures. To receive this offer, you must present your Disney Vacation Club Membership Card, along with a corresponding photo ID(s) to show proof of Membership. Limit of 8 tickets per Member household.

OP, I've done exactly what you're trying to do. You can have the plastic card multi-day tickets mailed to your house. No need to get vouchers, go to will call, or show I'd to activate the tickets. You will assign the ticket to your daughter or anybody in your MDE when purchasing through the special link. I have several of them in my possession for both DVC and non-DVC family members, 3 of the tickets won't be used until Nov 2017. I have FP already attached to others. They are no different than other tickets purchased directly from Disney; all that is different is the link you go through to purchase them. The receipt that the tickets are attached to simply states the number of days on the ticket and the standard "expires 14 days from original use".......there is no date that you must first use the multi-day tickets by; those rumors are false.

Quick question, does this mean I can buy a ticket for my grandson? We plan to take him in a few years and thought I would buy the ticket now but then I wasn't sure if he would be able to use it.

Edit: I guess it doesn't matter. UT has the 8 day base for $357.95 and the members deal is $356.78 - for the buck and change I will go with UT and get it mailed to me.

The members tickets can be mailed too.
I was going to use UT, but got the 10% from Target on gift cards, so that is saving more. I really would rather do the UT tickets, as the WDW price increase really makes me feel like buying my tickets elsewhere. ( I won't have a car, so still spending plenty eating there.:sad2:)

I believe that the members deal is a free water park and more add on when you buy the hopper- so make sure you are comparing apples to apples if you use the UT price.

^^Thanks, we don't go to the water parks but it's a good point

Is there a way to buy the tickets online or do you have to call?

Yes you can buy the tickets online. Then you have the option to pick up in person or have them mailed. I did have to link them to someone in my MDE account when I purchased.

We don't either but it is one "activity" per day- so mini or regular golf, ESPN world of sports, and I believe a few others. Not sure exactly what it covers but it would at least be worth considering, especially if you are already getting the hoppers.

Not wanting to start yet another thread, I have a question.
Is it possible to buy 2, and then later (but before 3/31) buy 2 or 3 more under this offer? Or must all tickets be bought at the same time?
