Is 1st week of Feb a good month to got to WDW?

Pretty flexible on my traveling dates right now so just curious if this was a good week to go to Disney World?

We LOVE WDW at this time of year.

It's got the potential to be 'cool', but since we are from New England, we would start the day in shorts and sweatshirts, and end up in tshirts by mid-day. Sweatshirts or jackets for the evening.

There are little to no crowds, and the only downside to that is that the parks do close earlier. But because there are very light crowds, you can get A LOT done.

We've done 2 end of Jan/beg of February trips, and simply LOVED them. Now, we try to tack on a few days before President's Week, so DS is not missing a ton of school.

I would aggree with the last post. We have gone twice in early Feb. But, be sure to be gone by President's Day-it gets nuts !! Otherwise, be prepared for any weather, we have worn shorts and t-shirts one day and coats with hats and gloves the next. It is a good time to do because there are not many people and you get to see and do alot without waiting.

The first week of Feb is a good week to go to WDW. Actually, the second week is good too. You want to avoid the week that begins with President's Day - or any week thereafter because the crowds are much heavier.

We were the 1st week of Feb last year. I was expecting lighter crowds (we have been during March Break, Easter, Christmas, Halloween) and I figured this would be the quietest and it wasn't. I think there really isn't a "dead" time of year anymore but it was manageable. I have to say though that it was much too cold to swim the entire week and the evenings were downright freezing! Pack gloves and hats and WARM coats.
