It's called "MINI" Golf........

....surely you would have expected some "MINI Me's" there????? :confused3

We're not going to get into a discussion similar to kids on planes and in-seat entertainment, are we???

I don't mind the mini people being there...
I DO mind parents not being parents
I DO mind that there is no 'entry' and 'exit' like a NORMAL mini golf course.

As for aircraft...do you want to get into a discussion about a VERY noisy and upset toddler being in BUSINESS class :rolleyes1

[yep...I got upgraded...on the east coast to west coast flight on a 777. Thank the lord for Bose noise cancelling headphones]

Queenie, I LOVE mini golf too. Thankfully so does my son. We have played both Fantasia and Summer/Winter at WDW. Infact, whenever we go on holidays, if there is a mini golf, we play. They have a cool one at Hamilton Island and each Friday night is "Glow in the dark" mini golf. The ball glows, the hole glows, you get a glow necklace and off you go, in the dark. It's fun.

I'm a bit confused as to why people would not play in order :confused3 Don't know of a mini golf or full sized golf course where you play whatever hole happens to look cute.

Anyway it looked like a cute course, pity you didn't get to play.

I don't travel business class.

Let that be a lesson to you.

Very nice report so far. I loved the Dream but then I also have nothing to compare it to yet. My son also LOVES mini golf and also begs to go to any course we see. I let his dad take him to play while I took DD for hair braiding. When I got up there it was a big free for all like you said but we just ran with it.

That is a neat mini golf course. Looks like alot of fun to play. The shots of the Aquaduck look like alot of fun to do. So do they make you bring out the life vests for the drill? Carnival stopped that, those smell.

Love the decorations on the ship!

No you don't have to bring the life vest out with you anymore. But the Disney ones don't smell :confused3

Oh, you dont get that in economy?

You EXPECT it in economy. :rotfl:

Exactly...you EXPECT it in Economy...but I expect a better class of toddler complete with Nanny in Business class :snooty:

This is the 2nd time I heard about a baby flying in business class.

I love your screen name, it fabulous! made me chuckle when i saw it :rotfl: :thumbsup2

My son has flown in Business (or first) class since he was 12 weeks old, never screamed, never run around, he's well trained (or realised that if he misbehaved he would be thrown down the airplane toilet and flushed away :rotfl: just kidding).

We flew in economy once recently and when the flight attendant put our meals down, he asked where his table cloth was :rotfl: :lmao:

Oh that's precious :rotfl:

I was in possibly the worst seat in Business - Restroom and Galley right in front. Aisle seat in front of bulkhead/restroom.

But being about to recline so much and with my noise cancelling headphones I was asleep when I wasn't fine dining :snooty: :rotfl2:

It's just something you kind of forget happens in Business too....getting small people. Of course it's the parents and grandparents I often find worse

Ok well nothing much of an update...

But here is the WHY YOU CHECK YOU NAVIGATOR update...

SALES!!!!

The shops on the ship aren't wildly exciting. There is 'cruise wear' and 'leisure wear' in one store...in addition to golf clothes etc. All with DCL theming.
There is the 'souvenir' store with pins, ornaments, kids toys, sort of like a VERY compact WDW merch store. (Very compact)

Then there is Whitecaps...

Oh how I love you Whitecaps.

Now most of the stuff sold there actually has little mickey theming. They sell jewellery and expensive stuff :lmao:

And the Dooney and Burke bags ::yes::

Now as we were coming to the end of 2011 (can someone please tell me where 2011 went??? ) they had put the inaugural cruise bags on sale for 40% off :woohoo:

This sale had been going for a few cruises before so while there were 4 styles to choose from they were not all in large supply. So when I showed up when the store opened (They do not open the shops until they are at sea) I got what turned out to be the last of the best in the range. Hehe...

I was being stalked by two other women...

But it was MINE!!! ALL MINE!!!

I should take a better photo to do it justice. But I'm too tired...

2011? That's so LAST year! :rolleyes1

Nice score on the bag. Are you sure it's yours? It sure looks like it could be MINE, all MINE! :teeth:

Love it! I hesitated to buy one on the 2010 Transatlantic and regret it. This year on the Fantasy I hope to snap one up! :)

me too :) we'll have to compare :)

I'm not typically a "snap one up" girl with handbags. I'm not a girl with 50 handbags. But I had gone on this trip determined to get a Dooney and Burke bag and with the 40% off and a bag with the right features...I was happy

I wouldn't have parted with full price for it I don't think though...
They had the new bags on board. They are a white based background with similar theming and character styles, but no 2011 on it. Also very nice. But if paying full price I think I'd prefer one sold at WDW.

Nice bag. I would've snaffled it up at at 40% off too. Full price though, I'm not too sure. I don't think I love them enough.
