Hi M1l2k3! We're from Buffalo also! We took our first Disney cruise in October with a 5 yo dd and our 3 yo ds. We're planning on going in September with the addition of a new baby (due late February).
Where in Buffalo do you live? It sounds like you're also travelling with a little one...how old? Be sure to post when you return and let us know how it was and any advice you have for travelling with a little one.
We traveled with our 16 month old DS and he slept comfortably in the DCL Graco pack n play. They even provided tight fitting crib sheets with a Mickey design. Of course I took extra blankets and his heartbeat bear but he slept 12 hours each night on our 4 day. I don't know what Category you are in but we had a oceanview category 9 so we have the room attendant move the coffee table that is in front of the sofa for the trip and then I had him leave the pack n play up. There was also a curtain I could pull that closed the pack n play off from the restrooms and queen bed.
The only thing I regretted was I did not take either disposable (?sp?) sippy cups or at least a small thing of dish detergent. My son will only drink milk so I found myself cleaning the several cups I brought with hot water but no soap. I even asked our server if they could clean them with dish soap and really hot water but he said they couldn't.
Others have recommended disposable sippy cups which I have seen at Wal-Mart. I think next time we go I will take a small thing of dish soap to wash out his cups and such. Also an umbrella stroller is perfect. You can fold it down and put it in the closet and I used it to take him to dinner, shows etc.
