Iron on transfers for colored vs. white shirts????

I bought iron on transfers for white shirts, but then I bought colored shirts. Don't ask me why, because I don't know!

I've never done this before....
Do the iron-ons for white shirts actually print out white or clear where there is no color in the design?

I'm trying to decide if I need to return them, but I'm afraid to open the package and check.

the ones for Dark shirts are solid white pigment, so they are white where they are supposed to be...

the ones for white shirts are "invisible" where it would be white.

YES! Looks like I accidentally bought the right thing!

remember that anywhere there is not a color(or a dark color) the color of the shirt will show thru!! So the whites of eyes on characters, for example, will be the color of the shirt. Anything not colored well in the design that is printed will come out the color of the shirt.

I always make shirts and use the Every iron on transfers- the dark ones are way better to me personally becus those are the ones you have to PEEL off and then lay on clothes and iron-normally the white ones you just print and flip em over and they peel off AFTER you iron so your picture could actually be backwards if your not careful! Also if you try to use the white paper on dark clothing it WILL NOT i repeat WILL NOt work lol just a heads up!

I'm just trying to print a swirled Mickey head on colored shirts. I want the "blank" parts to be the color of the shirt. Will the transfers for white shirts work?
